It's actually April 1st today but yesterday something very weird happened. I was just sitting in my chair reading minding my own business, like you do when you are staying home during a pandemic, when I noticed my chair was shaking. I stopped reading and thought maybe my son was upstairs moving around making the house shake. I turned and looked at the laundry on the drying rack and it was all shaking and moving. This went on for awhile maybe 30 seconds or more.
I yelled up to my son to ask him if he had been doing something that shook the house and he said no but that he had felt it too and thought he was dizzy. Earthquake I told him to go along with our pandemic. Nice.
I read Idaho had an earthquake of 6.3 which rocked us all the way up here! Lots of people felt the earth moving so it wasn't just me. The good news is that no one was hurt and there was nothing damaged at least not that I know of. What next? I'm almost afraid to ask because earthquakes are pretty rare for this are and we aren't on any fault lines.
This year, 2020, is sure starting out to be one that I will remember for the rest of my life, if I live through it that is.
Hang in there, this will all end and we will get through this.
Stay healthy!
